– sought to unite DC’s creative class on 9/11 for a day of revelry outside of nightlife
– created an innovative, active and competitive outlet for community to engage
– formed partnership with other local influencers from related communities to promote event
– attracted diverse community of urban, college educated supporters from ages 18-30
I wanted to produce an event that would encourage raised spirits on September 11, rather than sorrowful remembrance. The concept of an adult field day seemed appealing, so Child’s Play was born. We reached out to DC to BC and conArtistsguild for promotional support. Together we produced a fun-filled field day complete with games, music, and food vendors!
